4-4-2 for me.... with this formation
ROBINSON, YOUNG, CARRAGHER, FERDINAND, TERRY, BECKHAM (C), GERRARD, LAMPARD, COLE, BENT, OWEN.
I think we will beat both, stick with 4-4-2 Gerrard and Lampard can play together, it's worked before, people shouldn't doubt one of the best teams in the world.

I think the England team needed a kick up the arse and the Northern Ireland game should have done that. Beckham is shit in the middle of the pitch he can spray passes around all day but unless you have any one who can cross and header and ball its a complete waste of time. I would play him on the right wing for the up and coming games as he is in good form. I would play Crouch instead of Bent we need someone who can head a ball. Anyway hopefully England will win 2 - 0 on saturday and 2 - 1 on Wednesday!

CROUCH??? WHY??? He can't score for Liverpool, let alone England, I'm a great believer in if you are hot at the moment, then give them a chance... otherwise we will never find the ROONIES, OWENS and GERRARDS of this era! Give them a chance Sven!

I see what your saying but i wouldn't play Crouch to score he can create for Owen like Shearer use to. Granted Crouch is no Shearer but i think he could do a job. If we played on form players then surley we should drop Gerard for Murphy and get Ferdinand out straight away not to mention Lampard who has done f**k all in an England shirt since the world cup. I do agree that Bent is on form though and should be given a chance to play some part in the two games. Sven has got a problem coz if he looses then he is fired so its a difficult one for him!

Fair one, Murphy should have been selected, he is on fire. Ferdinand isn't on form, but he is an exceptional talent, everyone goes through bad patches

I dont like Sven anymore. For 1 how passionate can u get managing another countrys team. Are sweden goin to qualify? if so he will have one eye on them in the world cup. Get an english manager in after the world cup. Show some passion instead of sittin on the bench lookin puzzled. The crouch thing is a joke too, picking a player who aint even scored for liverpool this season the the height thing doesnt matter too much wayne rooney is hardly tall is he yet if he was fit would of played, bent should of started the 2 goals he scored passed spurs were awesome. My point of view the jury is still out for the world cup, we go there with big expectations ( as always ) and are likely to dissapoint ( again )!!

FAIR ONE ABOUT CROUCH! We already got rid of two donkeys in HESKEY and JAMES, now we have to draft in a 6ft 7 strtiker who can't head the ball, and lets face it the header he missed for England at the weekend was criminal..... ROONEY would have put it away and he a foot smaller than crouch!
LOOKING FORWARD TO WEDNESDAY, think it will do us good not to rely on Beckham, and maybe give BIG Ledley a start for a change!
